do you do custom packages?
Everybody has different needs and we are happy to put together a package that suits you perfectly. Contact us here to discuss.
once booked do we speak with you?
We are always available to chat and we love to stay in touch in the lead up to (and after) the wedding day; it’s this connection that helps you to feel comfortable, and helps us to create your story.
How long will you shoot for on the day?
We’ve found that 9 hours covers a wedding day perfectly – allowing us to capture the getting ready right through to action on the dance-floor. We understand every wedding is unique and additional coverage can be added as required.
Do you record audio of our vows and speeches?
Yes, we record full length audio from the ceremony and speeches. These audio files are supplied as part off our package.
How many cinematographers will be at our wedding?
We prefer to work with one cinematographer on the day as we find it’s less intrusive on your wedding day, but we can work with two cinematographers if required especially if it's a big event. We work light, there's no big crew getting in the way, no massive tripods or studio lighting. One piece of feedback we always receive: “We hardly even noticed you were there!”. Read our reviews here.
Are you insured?
We are fully insured (including public liability insurance).
Do you travel?
We are adventurous and love to explore. We work across Australia and further abroad and would love the opportunity to tell your story anywhere in the world.
Do I have to have audio in my highlights film?
It's your choice:) if you like the idea of having audio from the vows and speeches in your highlights film or not. It also comes down to what was recorded and if we feel it suits the film and your story. Not everyone’s a professional public speaker:)
Do you only work with certain photographers?
We work well alongside any photographer and respect everybody's role in your wedding day. We are easy going and get along with everyone! If your stuck for ideas see our Friends here.
What's your APPROACH?
We approach each film individually, and our process is a little organic, our work is continually evolving, and our films reflect the day and the couple we work with.
What happens if it rains?
We’ll get out there with rain jackets and umbrellas! We won’t let anything stand in our way. We even have little rain jackets for our cameras:)
What equipment do you use?
We use professional Lumix 4k bodies along with Lumix, Leica and Voigtlaender cine prime lenses. We also have plenty of back-up gear for emergencies.
How do we book?
All bookings are managed online. Once we have confirmed the details we will send you a link so you can finalise the booking. We take a deposit up front, with the remainder due within 30 days prior to the wedding day. Once the booking deposit is paid we are all set to go.
We don't like posing, is that OK?
Absolutely, we will capture the natural, honest moments rather than setting up staged shots. We stay out of your way as much as possible so you forget we’re even there.
How do you choose the music?
We love the process of finding the perfect music to suit your film, it’s as important to us as the footage. We listen to the music you play throughout your day and get a great sense of what you like. We license music from talented emerging artists from around the world, with a licensing fee that’s included in the price of our packages. If you feel strongly about the music selection or want to work with a certain artist or track, let us know and we can discuss.
Do we need to feed you on the day?
Yes please:) All day cinematography takes a tonne of physical and mental energy, so if you could cater for us that would be greatly appreciated.
How many weddings do you shoot?
We take a limited number of wedding bookings per year ensuring that we can give you and your film the time and dedication we believe you deserve.
When can we expect our film?
Our turn around time is generally between 4 to 12 weeks and varies dependent on the time of the season. We don't rush any of our edits or offer express editing. Good thing's take time and we pour our heart + soul into every film we produce.
