Organised by the incredible team at Wilderness Weddings Tasmania, the day was part of their bespoke approach to creating meaningful, low-impact weddings for heartfelt humans. No rules, no expectations — just a deep, authentic reflection of Sally & Brad’s love story.
The journey began the evening before, at a coastal accommodation specially chosen by Wilderness Weddings for its serene energy and stunning setting — a part of their collection of unmatched venues, from heritage-listed escapes to secluded stone cabins. I spent time with Sally & Brad as they settled in, preparing for the next day and enjoying a quiet moment together. As the sun set, they walked hand in hand down to the beach with a glass of wine — no fuss, no pressure — just a couple soaking in the beauty of the moment.
At 5am the next morning, we met to prepare for their sunrise ceremony. With the majestic mountains of Freycinet National Park as their backdrop, Sally & Brad exchanged vows on the beach in the soft morning light. It was raw, real, and absolutely perfect.
The edit has been carefully crafted into two interwoven stories, blending footage from both days with a thoughtfully curated soundtrack, live sound design, and the couple’s own vows. The result is a soulful, intimate elopement film that captures everything this journey was about — joy, calm, connection, and love.
